The Crafty Medium- Art with Heart

I am currently enrolled in the Altenew Academy for their Educator Certification Program. Part of the program is to create and maintain as well as for the blog hop giveaways. I will be adding my creative Altenew cards as well as my other craft projects. I will be also reviewing supplies and doing videos demonstrating different crafting techniques. My inspiration for this card was simple elegance. I wanted to showcase the two main roses in the stamp set as well as the leaves. I left the background white as to not take away from the detail in the layers of the roses.

Altenews Vintage Flowers is a 3 to 4 layered stamp that produces lovely dimensional flowers. I have just started using this stamp and after a few tries it is working beautifully. There is really a lot you can do with this beautiful stamp. There is a learning curve since it has 4 layers on one rose, but well worth the effort. I love how professional it makes my stamping look.

I used Altenew Firefly and Shadow Creek ink for the leaves and at this time I am waiting on supplies so for this card I used Stampin Up daffodil delight, crushed curry, bumble bee and mango melody on the roses.
